AufgabenAssistant Manager - VX Product Owner

We are a young and dynamic team developing the sales process of the future with focus on an integrated IT Landscape to provide magic moments and the best customer experience.

Our main task is to Design & rollout the Sales & Business Process Blueprint while taking ownership of the strategic development of our IT systems for Mercedes-Benz Cars across Region Overseas.

We are looking for an enthusiastic member to support the blueprint definition and development of VX - an enrichment middle layer for all vehicle data at Mercedes-Benz. You would need to take on several key elements of product ownership such as writing user-stories, consulting with the development team and aligning with the markets and business stakeholders with a focus on integrating Front-End solutions with the corresponding middleware and foundation systems.

Further, it will be your responsibility together with the Process Manager to define an optimized Sales Process Blueprint and Roadmap in line with the strategic goals of the company and in order to achieve target landscape adherence.

Main Tasks:

- Product Ownership of VX and related middle layer products.
- Direct and lead the development and rollout of products and features enabling Omni channel platforms by collaborating with engineers and business to develop and maintain the same.
- Ensuring the Integration of Systems & Data with special Focus on Middleware integrating Retail Front-End Systems and Foundation Systems in cooperation with the IT Department.
- Enhancing and enriching vehicle and related data to achieve business objectives.
- Maintaining data integrity and compliance of data for data reporting
- Create quarterly Product increment roadmap along with delivery plan in alignment with markets and HQ stakeholders
- Creation of sales process and system blueprints enabling automation and standardization of processes and workflows across region overseas markets
- Ensuring new initiatives, epic, features and stories are well aligned in terms of solution, landscape, process and timelines with all the other retail of the feature products.
- Creation of initiatives and epics at program level, and stories at team level covering adequate details for management, HQ, markets and development teams for better collaboration and delivery.
- Collaborate with Global teams and market business and IT units to ensure smooth execution of global and local initiatives.
- Support in Evaluation of Market Requests for Process and System changes.
- Provide consultancy and support to markets and GDs in terms of digitalization of retail business.
- Create and ensure governance around system utilization and key matrixes for product performance.
- Qualifikationen- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or Information Management Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in Product Ownership, driving process improvements
- Strong eye for business, strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Effective communication skills with ability to clearly and concisely present topics, features, ideas and recommendations to all stakeholders including the leadership team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present technical content to general audiences
- Ability to set goals and drive to their fulfillment. Take responsibility for actions/outcomes and wants to be held accountable for successes and failures.
- Work Experience in the Automotive Industry/Retail preferred
- Experience in Agile working methodology preferred (SCRUM & SAFE Agile)
- Highly motivated independent worker with minimum guidance required
- Experience in leading a team
- Strong analytical and abstraction skills
- Ability to work in an international and intercultural context
- Multi-linguistic abilities would be an added advantage.
