Analyst - Investor Solutions Group

The Investor Solutions Group (ISG) is a global team of professionals who are ultimately responsible for capital raising and managing ongoing relationships with our investors (LPs). The team operates collaboratively and is broadly structured into the following areas:

- The Product Specialist team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all marketing materials and investor communications. The team drives fundraising content, partnering with firm-wide stakeholders to develop best-in-class materials across multiple fundraises, some of which may overlap. The team creates fundraising materials (DDQs, PPMs, marketing collateral etc), responds to investor due diligence, and provides regular fund updates and qualitative responses to Actis’ LPs. In collaboration with our marketing and communications team they also market insights supported through our Macro research team.
- Sales are primarily responsible for fundraising, generating new LP relationships and widening and deepening existing relations across the world. Our LPs are mainly institutional investors such as sovereign wealth funds, public pensions, endowments, foundations, trusts, and family offices. The sales team actively market and nurture relationships through providing relevant insight, thought leadership and investment solutions.
- ISG also has in-house, dedicated legal and communications experts.

This opportunity will support the ISG team in a wide variety of activities and provide an exceptional learning opportunity to develop skills in fundraising, investor relations and to develop knowledge across the assets and geographies in which Actis invests and in particular how this relates to sustainability.

**Key Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)**
- Preparing responses to investor queries and due diligence questionnaires as part of fundraising/ongoing investor relations.
- Assisting with the preparation of presentations and other materials relevant to fundraising and investor relations, particularly ad-hoc requests and projects for specific investors.
- Support drafting of all Fund related documentation as part of a fundraise (Private Placement Memorandum, Due Diligence Questionnaires, Track Record, Team Overviews etc) including working with broader Actis teams, and internal/external legal counsel.
- Contributing to research and analysis on the market and institutional investors, leveraging resources such as Preqin and PitchBook as well as Actis’ internal CRM.
- Identifying relevant research and market insights to contribute to presentations and LP engagement, across asset classes.
- Support senior leadership on business development activities including a wide array of special projects.
- Engagement with other Actis teams to coordinate information needs as part of fundraising and LP management.
- Aiding in the development and planning of investor events.

**Knowledge**:

- Prior relevant work experience, such as banking, fund management, or consultancy
- Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail
- Ability to produce and synthesize research including qualitative and quantitative data, and the intellect to define and influence new approaches based on insights
- Ability to distill large amounts of information and effectively summarise findings in written projects
- Ability to collaborate and engage with colleagues and stakeholders globally at every level (including Partners, Fund Heads, etc.)
