**Job Description**:
**The Opportunity**
- Our company is a niche importer of Meat & Seafood from Australia & New Zealand specialising in supplying the high-end F&B market.
- 1 year contract, renewable and convertible to permanent.
- 8.30am - 5.30pm, Mon - Fri
- Near MRT

**The Talent**
- Degree in any relevant field of studies.
- Must have 1-3 years’ experience in Import-Export, Trade compliance or any other relevant experiences within Singapore Customs environment.
- Must have knowledge in HS code and overall shipment process and its trigger points.
- Patient and Meticulous.
- Able to work with a team or independently.
- Strong interpersonal/ communication skills.
- Managing the full spectrum and cycle of import processes including SFA compliance.
- Review various documents (invoices, bills of lading, and shipping statements) and ensure that it is compliant with local and foreign regulations of imported/exported products.
- Update import and export systems daily.
- Ensures that documents and transactions are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to trade laws.
- Analyse customs duty exemptions and free trade agreements to reduce cost of imports and exports.
- Liaise with suppliers, forwarders and warehouse/logistic team to facilitate clearance of incoming freight, resolve delays and for daily operational issues.
- Monitor and manage daily/weekly import operations.
- Accountable for all import HS and CASC codes are correctly applied to incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Conduct self-audits daily to ensure custom regulations are followed and its documents are consolidated and filed properly as required by relevant Singapore.
- Manage, update, and maintain Customs Compliance Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Database.
