**Role Purpose**

The Area Leader is responsible for the successful running of the Yo-Chi venues within their designated area or state. The primary purpose of the role is to lead, mentor and provide structure to the Venue Leaders and their direct reports, to ensure the business vision, culture and financial objectives are met.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Establish 1:1 meetings with Venue Leaders at least fortnightly to maintain constant dialogue and support
- Lead and develop each Venue Leader with clear direction, accountability and ongoing support
- Support Venue Leaders with the recruitment, onboarding and training of all new leaders and team members
- Provide regular performance evaluations and feedback to the venue leadership teams
- Work closely with Venue Leaders to effectively manage COGS and labour
- Oversee venue stocktake files, ensuring up to date and accurate; review weekly stocktakes for accuracy
- Identify training opportunities for venue teams and ensure appropriate training and ongoing coaching is rolled out to maintain outstanding customer service
- Work together with Venue Leaders to develop and implement sales growth initiatives
- Implement and model customer service standards and drive commitment to continuous improvement
