Play Space Supervisor Job Description

The Play Scene is seeking a dynamic and supportive team member to join our community as a supervising team leader.

As the first point of contact for parents and children, this individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks with ease.

  • Welcome parents and children, creating a friendly atmosphere and setting the tone for a fun experience.
  • Process payments and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform computer tasks, scheduling appointments, responding to inquiries via phone or email, and maintaining records in an organized manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the play area by resetting toys, sanitizing surfaces, and conducting general cleaning tasks.
  • Monitor the play area to ensure safety and compliance with facility rules and regulations.
  • Assist with special events or activities as needed, including birthday parties, holiday programs, and themed activities.
Requirements:

This role requires an individual with a friendly, outgoing personality and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred but not necessary.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software applications are required.

A passion for working with children and families is a must.

Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings as required.
