**Job Purpose**:
This role which is in the Sports Section of the Office of Student Affairs seek to achieve the following:

- To drive and grow community sports in NUS
- To drive the promotion of student wellness through sports participation
- To oversee, support and develop NUS Sports Groups
- To promote sports excellence

Duties & Responsibilities
- To lead, strategize and coordinate the University's efforts in promoting community sports in NUS.
- To monitor and report the Section's growth in community sports.
- To lead in the engagement of other NUS departments and faculties to strengthen student wellness through sports participation.
- To drive and manage special fundings for community sports projects.
- To develop and manage NUS Sports Groups including the NUS Students' Sports Club Management Committee.
- To oversee sports excellence programmes and the University support for high performance athletes.
- To engage sports groups and general student community to participate in regular sports activities.
- To contribute to the development of processes and policies for NUS Sports.

**Qualifications**
- At least 10 years of managerial experience in relevant industry. Experience and familiarity with student development through sports will be an advantage.
- Excellent social skills and able to lead and guide more junior sports managers.
- Strong interest in sports.
- Passion and aptitude for student development and sports excellence.
- Organized with strong administrative skills.
