
HR Director, Asia

Supporting the broader vision for FCM, the HR Director Asia will be responsible for formulating the strategy and directing the overall provision of people related services, policies and programs for all FCM businesses in Asia. Reporting to the MD, Asia and the Global CHRO, the HR Director will work with senior leaders across the business to ensure timely planning, implementation and deployment of an end to end Human Resource function - including workforce planning, talent sourcing, development and retention, employee and industrial relations and staff benefits and support. In addition, this role will collaborate with global HR Leaders to transform and restructure the HR function across the region in line global project. This role will have a key component of transformation, helping the business to reach aggressive targets through change management. Working closely with the Asia management team, the leader will roadmap and implement people and culture initiatives that build a diverse and inclusive work culture with a competitive employee value proposition and aligned with our FCTG company philosophies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer programs, procedures, and guidelines to align the workforce with the strategic goals of the business.
- Ensure HR function is operating effectively and efficiency and all activities are supporting key business priority of Talent Attraction and Retention
- Lead and develop HR team to take accountability for decisions, results and compliance of company processes and policies.
- Establish and lead standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce across Asia.
- Formulate and recommend HR policies and objectives for the company on any topic associates with employee relations
- Partner with business leaders to communicate and implement HR policies, procedures, programs and laws.
- Develop an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
- Design, direct and manage a process of organisation development that addresses succession planning, superior workforce development, key employee retention, organisation design and change management.
- Lead transformation projects
- Support our diversity focuses and ensure consistent delivery of employee experience according to FCTG/ FCM Asia culture
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree, equivalent or higher in Human Resources or Business
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior HR role
- Knowledge and experience in employment law, workforce planning, recruitment, organisation development, employee relations, safety, employee engagement and employee development.
- Experience in managing HR function across different Asia country
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR team members (experience managing remote teams/people preferred)
- Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing transformational HR strategy
- Outstanding collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to create plans and budgets and drive tems t success
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- International and solutions minded mindset
- Ability to work in a matrix environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
