DESIGNATION : Assistant Manager, Postgraduate Unit (3-year contract), School of Economics
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent SOE (School of Economics) PG (Postgraduate) programmes at local and international promotional events, and run information sessions both locally as well as at partner universities
- Source and have one-on-one discussions with potential applicants, either face to face (‘coffee chats’), telephone, skype or other means of communications
- Assist in the organization and development of marketing material for SOE PG programmes
- Familiarise with the SOE PG programme objectives, structure, placement targets and record, student body, and curriculum content (at a layman level) to be able to assist in the development of marketing strategies, provide appropriate advice to potential applicants, and collect relevant market intelligence
- Manage and track the budget items pertaining to advertisements, promotions, promotion-related events, travel and entertainment (the “marketing and admissions budget”)
- Assist the SOE leadership to conduct market studies to evaluate the feasibility of new tracks for the masters programmes
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in business, communications, marketing operations and/or digital marketing roles or related roles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively
- Good written and oral communication skills (both in English and Chinese)
- Attention to details and well organised
- IT savvy; well-versed in traditional and social media marketing platforms to reach out to target audience internationally
- Self-starter, able to work independently
- Positive attitude; effective team player
- Demonstrated ability to take primary responsibility for diverse number of projects and to complete them in a timely manner with mínimal supervision
