The Opportunity
An overview of

**Responsibilities**:
Advice
- Analyze the client and transaction which in combination provides the overall ESR profile associated with the business engagement. You will provide ESR advice for engagements in various types of transactions originated in APAC.
- Review and challenge the Wholesale Banking Front Office (FO) on the new ESG Risk Assessment (from One.ESG), which is our new data-led assessment of client-related ESG risks. This can also entail reviewing Climate Transition Plans;
Engage with WB Front Office, Consultants and Clients
- You will support the Front Office in providing guidance to clients on the environmental and social risks review process.

Monitor and Report
- You will track and monitor WB client portfolio on conditions set in previous ESR advice
- You will work with and support the ESR team on important bank initiatives covering climate change, nature, biodiversity, and human rights, including legislative and regulatory developments.
- Regularly discuss with ESR Team on relevant market developments and trends that need to be considered for the development and update of the ESR Policy Framework, as well as its integration into the new ESG Risk Framework (including mandatory instructions);

What qualities and skills are we looking for?
undergraduate in any discipline, specializing in engineering, economics, finance
Highly proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and Word
Experience in data management and related programming tools will be a plus
A good team player who is analytical, detail-oriented, organized and systematic
Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude
Fluent in spoken and written English
