Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to fill this critical role.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive HSE strategies, protocols and programs to ensure a safe working environment on construction sites.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending preventative measures.
- Provide training and guidance on HSE best practices and emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
- Prepare and present regular HSE performance reports.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across all project activities.
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in managing safety on construction sites, overseeing LTA building projects.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards and best practices in the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development in the field of HSE.
