**Job Opportunity: Graduate E&S Consultant**

**BACKGROUND TO IBIS**

Since our inception in 2015, IBIS has quickly established itself as a leading niche provider of Environmental and Social (E&S) Due Diligence, Management Systems and Lender Advisory and Monitoring services in Africa and Asia. Our founding group of Directors, who are some of the most recognised and respected sustainability professionals in their fields, bring a combined 200 years of sustainability management consulting experience in these markets.

We work for most of the leading Asian, European, US and African, Banks as well as Private Equity and Impact Funds focused on emerging markets. In the last 24 months alone, IBIS has led more than 200 projects in 80 countries for financial clients investing in the Power, Agriculture, Forestry, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Extractives, Telecommunications, Food & Beverage, Retail, Healthcare and Financial sectors, amongst others.

Since its establishment IBIS has achieved significant growth year on year and now boasts a team of about 90 E&S specialists across our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa, Kenya, Morocco, Egypt and France.

**POSITION**

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a full-time Graduate Consultant to join our dynamic, thriving and growing organisation in Singapore to support the team with delivering projects in sustainable finance.

**The role will entail the following**:

- Participate in Environmental and Social (E&S) Due Diligence projects in emerging markets.
- Participate in the development of E&S Management Systems, E&S Training and

Capacity Building and other E&S Strategy advisory for financial institutions.
- Site visits in a wide variety of sectors e.g. manufacturing, infrastructure, renewables, finance, power etc.
- Contribute to proposals and business development materials.

**REQUIREMENTS OF THE CANDIDATE**
- An excellent grasp of spoken and written English, and ideally a second language.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on high quality outputs.
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.).
- Ability to analyse and interpret technical information, to understand and articulate the potential risks and commercial consequences and propose pragmatic, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent people skills, being able to engage and foster relationships across geographies and cultures.
- Must be passionate about sustainability, risk management and maximising opportunities.
- Tenacity, focus and self-learning capabilities.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must possess a Science related, Engineering or Business degree.
- Proven academic excellence and other notable achievements are considered.
