Reports to: Head of Transfer Agency, APAC
Opportunity snapshot:
Reporting to the Head of Transfer Agency APAC this role will ensure the smooth operational running of the business according to established policies, vision, and strategy. The position will work closely with the APAC TA executive management team and their direct reports.

- Reporting & audit oversight
Role Responsibilities:
- Participate in strategic planning activities, providing insights and recommendations to support TA growth
- Create and maintain TA strategy document and communicate out across executive leadership
- Assist in communication of business objectives and strategy to all in APAC TA division.
- Track & report on status of strategic initiatives for the business function
- Ensure ownership of each strategic initiative and provide appropriate support to ensure completion of each initiative
- Review regular reporting from HR to identify any areas where action is required and follow through with executive leaders (including Attrition, office attendance, overtime rates etc)
- Oversee resource allocation and budgeting for the business function (in liaison with relevant roles)
- Tracks & reports headcount for the business function (in liaison with relevant roles)
- Reviewing and approving job requisitions & Offers on behalf of Head of TA ensuring within budget and approved headcount targets
- Track and monitor quarterly headcount targets as set by the Head of GIDS
- Partner with the Learning and Development function to assist with regulatory training across function and locations, Induction and Mentoring programmes, attendance records for training
- Partner with the respective global GIDS groups to drive Diversity, Inclusion and Health & Wellbeing initiatives for TA
- Act as business lead for employee engagement activities, providing a point of contact for employee engagement across the function and having oversight of the delivery of the annual survey and any subsequent action plans/initiatives
- Develop TA specific engagement surveys and questionnaires to understand employee concerns and assist in taking action to address issues raised
- Act as an agent for change for SS&C TA employees in APAC
- Prepare required collateral for meetings as required and ensure actions from Meetings assigned to owners and followed through to completion
- Support TA APAC Executive team members in the production of presentations to ensure excellent quality
- Report on outstanding audit points on a regular basis for APAC TA locations ensuring owners are assigned and all actions are followed through
- Create communications for the business function or review and approve communications, liaising with Communications Manager as required
- Provide input to global communications for function
- Work with Head of TA APAC on the annual APAC TA offsite agenda and actions and planning
- Support TA Head in any activities which need resolving, ensuring the right people get involved as required
- Assist in driving the APAC TA organisation in it’s direction to expand geographically in Asia, increase revenues as appropriate against set targets, monitor target progress across teams and overall improvement in culture, diversity, client experience and staff and client satisfaction.
- Provide assistance to leaders with recruitment, performance management and mentoring of team members
- Review the overall tracking adherence reports and acting as an escalation/approval point for requests to work outside this approach, ensuring consistency across our organisation
