**Job Background**:
The Transfer Agency Department is primarily responsible for the accurate maintenance of the fund and shareholder register, accurate capture and reporting of investor dealings in the fund for which Citi acts as the fund’s transfer agent.

The team is responsible for day-to-day client servicing, coupled with a number of back office functions within the transfer agency unit across mutual funds. Some operational activities are executed by the local transfer agency unit, while other functions are performed by Citi’s outsourced locations globally or with external vendors.

**Job Purpose**:
This is an Officer/Administrator role within Transfer Agency operational unit, reporting to the SG Head of TA Operations. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Client/Distributor/Investor on-boarding, AML/KYC documentation & administration, and data management
- Transaction processing & investor servicing
- Cash & trade settlement processing
- CPF / SRS processes
- Corporate action processing
- Reporting of shareholder trade activity to the fund accountant and the fund custodian
- Bank account reconciliation
- Foreign exchange dealing & execution
- Periodic client, investor and regulatory reporting
- Review of fund prospectuses, operating memorandums and key fund documentation
- Fund launches and implementation
- Client conversions
- Client change request management
- Client & vendor management
- Oversight and risk control management for domestic and outsourced functions
- Managing client due diligence visits
- Awareness of regulatory and industry change and how it impacts the business

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring day-to-day operational deliverables are executed and ensure deliverables meet performance, service quality and service delivery expectations.
- Analyze issues with transaction capture and related functions where direction is needed, and actions must be recommended / taken.
- Ensure compliance to policies and procedures and ensure that essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining workflow standards.
- Monitor performance of operational activities and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, client service, control, and cost reduction and implement improvements.
- Conduct discovery and due diligence activities with clients to solve complex client queries.
- Identify issues or inefficiencies within the team and build a strong, controlled working environment, concentrating on error prevention and mitigation.
- Contribute to the goals and objectives of the Transfer Agency operations.

- A minimum of 3 - 5 years of working experience, preferably in a related role
- Subject Matter Expert in multiple or specific skill sets, business areas or products preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills

- Take responsibility for assigned tasks and prioritize to ensure expectations are met.
- Co-ordinate or act as TA representative on larger projects, as requested.
- Become actively involved in the development of the business by involvement in initiatives such as new business implementation.

- Ability to build a strong and trusted working relationship with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
