The employer is the Singapore regional HQ of a diversified Asian conglomerate with interests in energy, infrastructure and commodities trading business. With a multibillion-dollar sales turnover, and a highly-skilled multi-ethnic team spread across several countries, the Group is expanding its presence in Asia Pacific region. For its regional HQ in Singapore, the Group is looking for a qualified professional to join the team as:
**Position**: Manager - Business Development (Infrastructure Projects)

**Location**: Singapore

**Responsibilities**
- Deal Origination: Identification of potential business opportunities in APAC region with specific focus on Renewable Energy, Data Centres, Power and Ports
- Management of an ecosystem of partners, co-investors, lenders, government authorities, regulatory bodies, business advisory/consulting firms and consultants
- Maintenance of strong and regular contacts with key professionals in the ecosystem
- Qualitative and Quantitative review of prospective business opportunities in support of Deal Origination and/or Due Diligence efforts - financial, commercial, technical or management assessment
- Preparation of proposals, reports, supporting documentation and presentations for review and final investment approval by senior management
- Maintenance of updated knowledge base of market trends and developments in Renewable Energy, Data Centres, Power Generation/Distribution, Port Construction etc.
- In conjunction with Corporate Finance teams, preparation of financial models, analysis, proposals, and documentation for M&A, as required.

**Requirements**:

- Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Business/Finance/Engineering from premier institutions.
- About 8-10 years of relevant experience of which the last 2-3 years should be in a similar role, preferably in Corporate Business Development, Investment Banking, Multilateral Agencies, Government Bodies or Business Advisory firms.
- Exposure to Infrastructure Projects, especially Data Centres, Power Generation, Renewable Energy or Ports/Terminals
- Existing contacts with power grids, economic development agencies, public utility companies in Singapore and other countries in the region
- Strong commercial acumen, research, analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of Asian languages, especially Chinese, Bahasa or Vietnamese would be advantageous
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, building good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Cultural Sensitivity. Ability to work in multi-ethnic teams.
- Meticulous and detailed. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong time management and follow-up skills.

**Salary**: $9,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month
