**Job Description**:
As a Regional Business Development, you will be reporting to the Regional Head of Business Development Deals Nearby, Lazada and working closely with the regional and country teams to grow and manage partnerships with independent software vendors (ISV) within the Online to Offline (O2O) space. You will manage and drive country requirements in regional deals with O2O partners to support and meet business goals. A sharp business acumen is absolutely necessary for this role, balanced with an eye for detail in data and product delivery. You succeed through shaping the best commercial outcomes with our partners and internally, so as to deliver awesome value to our Lazada users.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct market landscape and build target book of strategic business opportunities across independent software vendors with a focus on Online to Offline (O2O) solutions.
- Engage shortlisted strategic partners and conduct due diligence necessary for internal business case approval.
- Support the build of the deal to include projections, risk management, licensing and alignment with product delivery for regional projects.
- Act as commercial manager to support country projects together with country leadership, and own the commercial outcome for O2O related partnerships while aligning the risk parameters internally and externally.
- Work in a team-oriented, project driven environment and partner with regional product teams and country commercial teams to deliver targeted outcomes.
- To help build customised business models that leverages on our unique dataset and our partners strength in market.
- Gather intelligence on competitors and produce analysis out of that research, and contribute to business strategy planning
**Job Requirements**
- Minimum bachelor’s degree with 3- 5 years of relevant working experience in the O2O business
- Must be familiar with the local F&B business, online ordering or food delivery, scan-to-pay market in SEA
- Good problem-solving skills, ability to identify issues, assess risks and offer solutions
- Commercial acumen and the ability to work in a role within a complex matrix organization and collaborate effectively with multiple partners with different backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and thrives on building new ways of working.
- Have strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure with multiple concurrent objectives.
- Digital or technology background with product delivery experience would be a bonus.
