Summary

The Senior Specialist, Sustainability (Social and Governance) will be responsible for social and governance tasks under the wider sustainability function.

The incumbent will be the internal lead in the area of reporting and assurance in relation to sustainability, working with internal departments and stakeholders as required to ensure compliance in this area.

The incumbent will also be required to coordinate and support working committee meetings to engage internal stakeholders on sustainability initiatives to support the company's longer-term sustainability roadmap and will play a key role in establishing documentation and developing a standards framework for the sustainability function.

**Job Description**:
Main Responsibilities:

- Responsible for internal coordination with business units (BUs) as required for accurate and timely submission of required data for reporting related to Sustainability.
- Regular review of data-related processes with concerned BUs and buildup of expertise in this area.
- Provide support for internal audits as required for reporting related to Sustainability.
- Coordination of regular internal working committee meetings, including writing of meeting minutes.
- Develop and maintain a tracker for Sustainability initiatives in line with the longer-term roadmap and work closely with BUs as required to achieve these.
- Develop materials on Sustainability topics, including short information posts and an internal course, for internal staff consumption.
- Regular review and maintenance of the content relating to Sustainability on the company’s website.
- Close coordination with BUs to further develop and implement sustainable procurement policy.

**Requirements**:

- Min bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, or similar education background relevant to Sustainability or Environmental Science and/or possess 4-5 years’ experience in working in the field of Sustainability.
- Good knowledge of United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), sustainability concept & principles
- Familiarity with Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), Occupational Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45001), Social Responsibility (ISO 26000) and Sustainable Procurement (ISO 20400) would be advantageous.
- Trained in ISO 9001 lead auditor would be desirable.
- Conversant with Corporate Social Responsibility publication best practice, sustainability reporting and Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) standards.
- Experience in cross-functional project management would be an asset.
- Able to work well with internal and external parties.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface and influence all levels of stakeholders (internal/external).
- Exceptional analytical skills and experience in using data visualization tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, such as MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word.
