The Challenges

You will manage and oversee the daily functionalities of the air freight operations teams, be responsible for the up-skilling of the current team through an active attitude towards coaching, mentoring and development while managing the P&L and execution of the Air Freight product strategy for the business
You will develop and maintain strategic relationships with the Key Accounts customers
You will establish trade lane strategy to gain and develop new business wins with the commercial team
You will ensure operational excellence of the Airfreight Product and delivers the agreed KPIs internally and with customers, you will drive and manage operational productivity performance through initiatives, planning and programs
You will drive and execute the airfreight carrier and procurement strategy to ensure optimization
You will offer strategic business direction through the collection and analysis of business statistics

What It Takes

Bachelor degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is advantage
10 years of functional leadership experience within an international air freight forwarding environment
Excellent operational knowledge with proven change management experience
Strong leadership and change management capability
Good time management skills are essential, especially the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
