- Proved record of building and executing high-impact events ( >2K+ offline attendees) in South East Asia
- An ambitious self-starter with excellent follow-through skills to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast and dynamic environment.
- Skilled negotiator with proven experience in finding creative ways to do more with less and staying within budget
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable to clearly present ideas to the senior executives and across organization
- Stay abreast of the latest event tools and trends; be open to new ideas and drive innovation

Job summary
Amazon Global Selling is one of Amazon’s business units that helps businesses from anywhere in the world to launch a global business, reaching Amazon customers around the world and building international brands. This position is based in Singapore.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage event marketing goals and experience for Singapore and Malaysia selling partners
- Manage event budget, results tracking and analysis, and overall event timeline
- Influence and align event strategies and plans with business priorities across stakeholder groups, including interfacing directly with leadership and business/sales teams.
- Manage end to end planning and execution of events with operational and logístical excellence; build processes for repeatable and scalable event activities
- Work with multi-layer stakeholders and external agencies to manage event content and production, speaker selection, agenda, and overall event experience with a Seller-obsessed mindset
- Develop and execute event marketing plans that achieves marketing and shared goals (registrations and attendees, event views, sponsorship etc)
- Capability to move easily between generating big, strategic ideas, and driving hands-on process improvement along with team
- Ability to identify better ways of working at scale through building new mechanisms and processes
- Proactive approach to handling any challenges that might arise and ability to quickly troubleshoot any problems that should arise on the event day
- Collaborative attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Capable of confidently using experience and data to assess and recommend the best course of action even in ambiguous situations
- A self-starter who can take general direction and produce specific results
- E-commerce industry knowledge and experience preferred
- Project management experience
- International experience
- Good oral and written communication in another language in South East Asia
- Demonstrates Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.
