Job Description

Turner & Townsend is looking to make a senior level appointment for a Data Centre Leader in Asia, based in Singapore. We are seeking a strong, proactive, energetic, and progressive person to lead our data centre sector across the Asia region. The person selected will be accountable to grow our data centre profile and reputation in one of the fastest growing construction sectors in the world, building upon an already strong foundation working on the region’s largest data centre projects for the world’s biggest companies.

**Key responsibilities of this role include**
- Develop and implement business development strategies, pursuing key project opportunities, new business targets, and clients
- Holding and developing trusted long term client relationships on a regional and/or global level
- Providing advice to clients on overcoming the key risks, issues, and challenges to deliver data centre projects in Asia
- Develop and implement project set-up and delivery strategies for new build greenfield data centres
- Leading the data centre sector team across the Asia region
- Identifying, onboarding, and developing new data centre capability in Asia region
- Providing oversight, assurance and problem solving on data centre projects as required
- Developing proposals/solutions to clients that articulate our services, methodology and approach, experience, and differentiators
- Reporting to the relevant Global and Regional Boards on the progress of the data centre sector in region against the strategic growth plan
- Coordinate with project team leaders on project negotiations and contract execution
- Collaborate with the other business lines and teams

Qualifications
**The ideal person would have**:

- Extensive experience working on major new build, greenfield, hyperscale data centres
- Exposure to other hi-tech and manufacturing sectors (e.g. life sciences, semi-conductor, logistics, etc) highly preferred
- Experience in business development with a proven track record of success
- Strong connections to cloud operators, telecommunications, and major co-lo providers
- 15+ years relevant post-graduate experience in cost/contract management, construction management, project/programme management, project controls, and/or engineering
- Proactive, meticulous, self-motivated and hands-on team-player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential at all levels
