The Operations Change Lead will lead and champion the operating model for Operations in the region, working closely with the project team, Ops functional teams and the service providers to ensure the design and delivery of an optimal operating model in the region to support the growing business.
The Change Lead must be capable of working within all phases of the project lifecycle from the initiation through to closure, and within initiatives that deliver the desired outcome.
The individual must have excellent interpersonal skills to engage and drive changes, without direct authority, relying on their ability to influence others to drive results.
- Responsible for leading and facilitating discussions on the design and implementation approach for new operating model with the various Ops functional teams in the region, service providers and project delivery teams
- Support the Operations team in developing new processes and controls
- Identify areas to streamline operational functions, creating efficiency and more robust controls
- Coordinate efforts with the various operations team to develop the agreed service level agreements and design the appropriate metrics for performance monitoring
- Lead change management activities and monitor change progress
- Evaluate the impact of planned organisational change. Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
- Perform change management assessments and GAP analysis.
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance
- Support and engage senior leaders
- Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
- Providing reporting and other updates to management and project teams.
- Takes full responsibility for the entire implementation of the new operating model with the service provider, including defining scope, expected timelines and identification of project sponsor.
- Ensure all project documentation are signed-off by the business and respective stakeholders as well as institutionalized and are of auditable standards.

- Dynamic individual who is able to navigate the organisation successfully with excellent influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Has in-depth experience in Operations in the Financial industry
- Has strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively and proactively with external and internal stakeholders.
- Able to resolve issues in a manner that build trusts, delivers successful project outcomes and drives the organisation’s strategic agenda.
- Familiar with Asian local markets and regulatory practices.
- Is self-motivated, self-driving and independent.
- Attentive to details and able to handle ambiguity.
DOMAIN SPECIFIC ATTRIBUTES:
- Strong foundation in understanding end-to-end operations within an asset management company and the impacts of each on the overall business
- In-depth experience in running operational teams
- Experience in working with BlackRock Aladdin as a front/middle office system would be an advantage
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- More than 15 years of operational experience in an asset management industry
- Broad based thinking
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
