**JOB SCOPE/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Volunteer Development, Management and Relations
a) Work with the Manager, Volunteer Management (VM) as well as with other programme heads in identifying volunteer opportunities in SPD
b) Support the Manager, VM to manage the training, development and retention of SPD volunteers, develop volunteer leaders to plan and execute activities that are primarily volunteer-led
c) Work with other divisions to implement, monitor and evaluate volunteer initiatives and activities to ensure effectiveness in meeting SPD’s objectives
d) Network with external agencies and corporates on volunteerism needs and possible collaborations
e) Assist the Manager, VM to ensure the existing volunteer policies, systems, procedures and standards of volunteer service are adhered to
f) Assist the Manager, VM to review, update and streamline existing volunteer policies, systems, procedures and standards of volunteer service in SPD on an annual basis to ensure relevancy
g) Implement SPD’s volunteer acknowledgement, recognition and appreciation initiatives and activities
h) Sustain volunteer involvement/interests and conduct regular evaluation of volunteer performances
i) Coordinate volunteer-led activities in the assigned centres/region
j) Update and maintain SPD’s volunteer database
- Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer, or the Director, Organisational Development
**REQUIREMENTS**
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably related to social sciences or business administration
- At least 3 years of experience in Volunteer or Community engagement
- Outgoing and friendly, enjoys working with people
- Analytical, flexible, resilient and ability to see different perspectives and draw connectivity
- Confident as an independent worker and also a good team player
