The Director of Service will be responsible for creating and executing the development of Delta SEA Region’s service strategy. The Director of Service will be overall responsible for developing, planning and overseeing all service activities with the SEA Region, including managing the financial and human resources involved. The service strategy and activities will include the development of a region wide service offering for both existing and new customers including new business areas. Dotted line reports: Service teams in nominated countries after preparation and agreement on the plan.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**:

- Understand the SEA existing services Business & create a detailed service product offering to enable easier and consistent selling by regional sales team.
- Create and rollout SEA service plan throughout region (including working through Marketing).
- Prepare and be responsible for SEA budget planning.
- Develop and grow service teams
- Meet agreed service revenue targets for the SEA Region
- Assess and support bringing on key service partners (subcontractors) in the region as needed including supporting documentation including contracts.
- Interface with other BUs within Delta as needed to achieve objectives including key account managers, country managers and service teams.
- Use existing resources as needed unless approved plan supports recruitment.
- Train sales teams on Service sales.
- Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
- Establish, develop and maintain Delta’s relationships with key strategic customers within SEA region related to service together with country managers and service staff.
- Act as a consultant to SEA teams working on key solution opportunities including proposing service offerings to these key opportunities.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Required**:

- University degree in business or relevant discipline or similar with equivalent industry experience

**Job Experiences**:
**Required**:

- Proven track record in managing a matrix organization
- Minimum 15+ years’ experience in service related business including direct experience with putting service offerings together from infancy.
- Direct experience with putting together proposals, managing execution and supporting servicing of major Datacenter projects
- Proven business and financial management skills
- Effective problem solving and mediation skills
- Strong planning, organizing and time management skills
- Good negotiation skills, attention to details, follow up and administration skills
- Should be far sighte and able to make optimize use of opportunity
- Ability to cope with conflict, stress and crisis situations
- Good mentoring skills and able to share skills and knowledge with others
- Good analytical and effective decision making skills
- Strong networking skills

**General skills (language, IT, etc.)**:
**Required**:

- English Language skills, written and verbal
- Proficient in relevant IT programs like MS Office and IT business systems
