
Project Manager

You will be required to perform the following:
- Overall, in-charge of the project with the support of other team members (Conference, logistics, admin, sales, marketing) to ensure the success of the event.
- Drive a sound business model and manage the budget for each edition of the event and to ensure expenditure is managed efficiently.
- Work with client to establish standing operating processes (SOP) for execution of event e.g., approval process, reporting requirements, schedule of meetings etc.
- Work with client to conceptualize, design and execute curated zones for the event
Budget management will include:
1) Propose a detailed financial budget and obtain approval from the client.
2) Monitor revenue and expense to ensure that the overall event is performing well financially.
3) Work with the Finance department on invoicing and account reconciliation matters for both pre
- and post-event.
- Ensure that all expenses processed by both core and supporting functions/departments are in compliance with SOP.
- Coordinating the various committee meetings with client/stakeholders and attending meetings with the client/stakeholders on all progress updates of works done to the lead-up of each edition.
- Liaising with 3rd party contractors working e.g., venue provider, exhibition stand builder, etc, or any other providers contracted by client directly, to drive the overall success of the event.
- Incorporating the sustainability aspects of organising events and actively propose areas on how carbon footprint can be reduced.
- Should there is any direct or indirect issues e.g., venue or event production-related, during the contractual period, you shall be responsible to rectify these issues.
- Conduct and record meetings with client as and when required.
- Client liaison and servicing.
**Requirements**:
- Degree or Diploma holder.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Possess experience in organising a virtual and/or hybrid event preferred.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, communication skills with client-service orientation.
- Possess good planning, organisational and multi-tasking skills.
- Possess good communication & negotiation skills.
- Possess a positive attitude and high standards in work ethics & personal integrity.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organisation.
- Possess good working attitude and willing to learn.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: $5,500.00 - $6,500.00 per month
