We have an exciting opening for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager in APAC. In this role, you will not only act as the primary point of contact for our esteemed clients but also play a pivotal part in propelling our Business Development team to new heights.

**Key Areas**
Sales and Client Acquisition:
- Build and maintain a database of potential clients and leads.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales pitches and proposals to win new business and achieve revenue targets.
Partnerships and Sponsorships:
- Identify and engage potential partners and sponsors to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
- Negotiate partnership and sponsorship agreements to maximize revenue and enhance the overall value of conferences.
Market Trends and Competitive Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive activities.
- Use market insights to make strategic decisions and maintain a competitive advantage.
Pricing and Contract Negotiations:
- Set pricing strategies for conference attendance, exhibitor spaces, and sponsorship packages.
- Negotiate contracts with clients and partners to maximize revenue and establish mutually beneficial agreement
Long-Term Growth Strategies:
- Develop and implement long-term business development strategies to foster sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
**What do you need to succeed in this role?**
- Passion for sales and business development with a keen interest in lifescience conferences, digital marketing and consulting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage clients effectively and represent the company professionally.
- Strong relationship-building abilities to foster trust and rapport with clients and partners.
- A proactive and results-driven mindset, always seeking new opportunities and willing to go the extra mile to achieve targets.
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience in B2B sales/ business development would be advantageous.
