We are looking for an exceptional person to join, lead, and help build our APAC Enablement team, and play a pivotal role in elevating our revenue generating functions across Asia-Pacific. This role will both drive the value proposition and sales methodology, while also leading all other craft learning specialists. (Partnerships, Technology Services, and Merchant Success). With a strong focus across the business on revenue-generating Enablement, this role will support execution and acceleration of merchants adopting the various Shopify products across the region.
Unlike so many global companies, Shopify does not believe in making global decisions and simply carrying them out in each region. Leadership, strategy, and execution will sit within this role, so if that excites you - great This role leads the charge on building and scaling our ongoing enablement programs and content for our APAC merchant facing teams. The Enablement Lead plays a pivotal role in orchestrating how our merchant facing teams engage and drive merchant adoption. Leading a team focused on product positioning, certifications, ongoing skill development, product enablement, delivery and adoption of global enablement programming. This will be achieved by partnering with our Senior Craft Leaders and their teams. There will be opportunities to address gaps with autonomy and the support of a team of passionate learners, both globally and across APAC.

Job Description
- Working collaboratively, across multiple global and APAC functions and teams, to deliver programs complete with learning courses, playbooks, use cases and other key materials to enhance sales productivity and competencies.
- Partner with global enablement craft leaders to ensure feedback flows between our merchant facing teams and these cross functional teams
- Consult and collaborate with stakeholders to assess and identify the training program needs of our APAC merchant facing teams; build upon our existing programs to incorporate cultural nuances.
- Utilize enablement tools to accelerate the success of our teams
- Project management and consistent communication with stakeholders, teammates and leadership regarding timelines and milestones
- Evaluate and update documents and programs to ensure they reflect any organisational, product, craft, or content changes
- Utilize existing data collection methods to evolve and adapt program components; determine alternate means to collect relevant program data to ensure continual training effectiveness and iterate as needed
- Drive education and awareness of our programs to key audiences including new employees, craft leaders, and cross-functional teams
- Facilitate dynamic workshops to solicit feedback and conduct deep-dives to drive forward initiatives
- Provide accurate target/objective updates to audiences that track progress on identified key programs and their impact on our business.
- Provide overall ad hoc experimentation and project support for the frontline APAC teams as needed
- Build, lead, and develop a world-class APAC regional team of enablement crafters
Qualifications
- Must have experience building Sales Enablement programs (within APAC is preferred)
- Experience forming Sales Enablement strategy at a regional level
- Experience leading others in complex organisations (ideally within global companies)
- Extensive knowledge of learning principles and modern training techniques
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, as well as demonstrated tenacity and persistence
- Extensive experience in a cross-functional leadership role, preferable in a SaaS company
- Strong organizational and team management skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage many projects and priorities simultaneously and proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
