HR Business Manager Job Description Abaxx Singapore Pte. Ltd.:
Our goal is to improve price signals and better risk management tools for energy markets to accelerate the energy transition. Fundamental to the development of our societies, we believe that commodities can and should be graded and traded based on their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) externalities.
Abaxx Exchange is an emergent commodities exchange and clearinghouse in Singapore that has been established to motivate and facilitate better trading and technology solutions for the commodities markets. We intend to extend our technology services, software protocols and infrastructure to pre-and post-execution services to develop the capacity and infrastructure needed to meet emerging and evolving future sustainability standards.
**Description**
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Human Resource Manager will be responsible in leading and managing all human resource activities in the areas of employee relations, recruitment, compensation & benefits, policies, training & development and leading HR related initiatives and projects.
Familiar with the local government labour and employment (local and offshore) rules, contract management, pay system, insurance and other aspects of the laws, regulations, and policies. Providing the relevant human resource advises, organizational construction and devoting to improve company’s comprehensive management level.
The role has part responsibilities in office management, as to ensure the safety of the company’s property and office, ensure the normal and orderly progress of the company’s work, and create a good office environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy
- Work closely with various Business Unit Heads in placing manpower (full-time, contract, consultant, advisor, student interns etc.)
- Lead full spectrum of HR functions - HR policies and procedures, including compensation and benefits programs that provide a competitive level of pay, motivation and reward to employees
- Handle off-cycle payroll payments, monthly payroll processing & CPF submission and yearly IRAS submission
- Handle new employee on-boarding matters (employment contracts, immigration matters, create employee files) & off-boarding matters
- Lead & facilitate annual performance appraisal exercise and implement employee enrichment and training programs
- Participate in company audits
- Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations pertaining to human resources aspects of compliances i.e., policies & procedures, mandatory benefits, compensation, health & safety etc. - recommend and implement such requirements into practice
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
**Requirements**:
- 7 years or above HR experiences in small and medium-sized exchange/technology/commodities companies, 3 years or above working experiences as human resource business partner
- Having good organizational coordination skills, planning the company’s HR development, and supervising the implementation of plans
- Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism, good organization and coordination ability and communication adaptability, and passionate to develop a strong company culture
- Having dedication spirit, loyalty and trustworthiness, strong sense of responsibility, with the pioneering spirit
- Experience in setting up a new company or branch is an added advantage
- Familiar with administrative work process, office supplies procurement process, enterprise asset management, familiar with administrative system, various system formulation is preferred
