DESIGNATION : Programme Manager (1-year contract), GEO

RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Centre for Global Education & Opportunities (GEO).
- Business Development
- Source and engage stakeholders including potential clients, industry representatives, faculty, students, vendors and other SMU units.
- Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships to promote the SSP (Short-term Study Programmes) objectives.
- Identify new industry partners and work closely with existing industry partners to solicit mutually benefitting collaborations.
- Manage programme sales, programme development (such as organising events, activities, company visits, information sessions), content development.
- Programme / Event Management
- Manage student events - planning, liaison, publicity.
- Conduct reviews after each run of programme.
- Conduct post programme surveys and propose/execute enhancements to the programmes.
- Prepare funding and end of programme reports for funders and senior management.
- Provide student advisory services and support.
- General duties
- Adhoc projects that require maturity in handling and delivery

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree holder, preferably with programme delivery and event planning/management experience.
- Familiarity with operations in global education.
- At least 4 years of experience running student programmes at university-level and/or managing cross-cultural student events.
- Driven self-starter with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player who is resourceful, resilient and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented and ambiguous work environment.
- Communicates well - both written and spoken, and is confident of leading tertiary students of different nationalities.
- Meticulous; an eye for detail and appreciates the value and need for thorough planning and good documentation.
- Technology and social media-savvy; able to use design software to develop publicity materials.
