**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- This position is for Centre for Global Education & Opportunities (GEO).
- Stakeholder Management
- Develop and manage relations with partner universities through regular communications.
- Facilitate annual placement projection and negotiation exercise with partner universities.
- Programmes and Events Management
- Plan and execute events such as SMUs Study Abroad Fair and other student outreach and programme publicity initiatives, as well as orientation and farewell activities for inbound/outbound students.
- Provide necessary support and guidance to the students (outbound SMU students and inbound international students) throughout the programme which includes managing the teams role-based mailbox and answering programme-related enquiries.
- Conduct surveys, analyse findings and prepare reports on students study abroad or study at SMU experiences, and learning outcomes.
- Work closely with SMU Office of Safety and Security (OSS) to ensure full compliance with study abroad safety protocols.
- Special projects
- Work together with the team to improve and enhance effectiveness and efficiency of operational/work processes,
- Lead and manage various programme related projects, to assemble teams to deliver on these projects.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma or degree holder, preferably with programme delivery and event planning/management experience.
- Familiarity with operations in the global education sector.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in developing and running global student programmes at the university level and/or managing cross-cultural student events.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, confident and effective in cross-cultural settings.
- Driven self
- starter with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- An exemplary team player who is resourceful, resilient and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and ambiguous work environment.
- Meticulous, has an eye for detail and appreciates the value and need for thorough planning and good documentation.
- Able to manage multiple and competing tasks within deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- IT and social media-savvy.
