
Exhibition & Sponsorship Sales Manager

**Responsibilities**
- Identify and develop new sales leads to expand market share and penetration of new markets and related industries, to develop the sales pipeline and grow exhibitors/sponsors base
- Deliver the event targets including overall numbers of exhibitors, exhibitor mix, stand sales, sponsorship inventory, yield, and sponsorship revenues.
- Source for potential sponsors and clients for exhibition
- Manage client services team in sales administration including contract negotiation, collections and after-sales-service with the intention to provide a holistic customer experience for the exhibitors/ sponsors.
- Visit and interact at competitor and industry events and develop a systematic understanding of ecosystem and monitoring of competitors
- Provide a monthly report and forecast on show revenues,
- Participate in the planning and development of marketing campaigns and communications materials for exhibition and sponsorship sales;
- Work with other departments such as operations, marketing and the project team to ensure the smooth running of the event as well as planning and post-event responsibilities.
**Qualifications**
- Experience in selling event sponsorship for physical and digital events, or B2B and media business development.
- Experience managing and developing a pipeline from scratch
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to recognise, create, and develop sales opportunities
- Genuine interest in building a long term relationship with new and existing clients
- Driven, self-motivated, with a go-getter mentality
- Independent self-starter who also possesses a strong team ethic
- Good grasp of strategic and tactical sales; able to link with and leverage on content and marketing support
