**GRANTS & ACCOUNTING ANALYST**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Grants & Accounting Analyst will work closely with Finance Lead and will be responsible for researching, analysing and processing all grants for which Transcelestial is eligible. The role will also include liaising with co-founders, as well functional and team leads and act as a true business partner.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Research grants programmes in Singapore and abroad. Become the go-to person for all things grants-related.
- Produce budget and expense analysis report and grant expenditure tracking report
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis in response to requests or to provide support to various project team leads.
- Produce budget and expense analysis reports and grant expenditure tracking reports.
- Prepare and distribute invoices for project reimbursement as and when needed
- Perform grant-related post-award functions, including budget and expense analysis, periodic claim submission, financial reporting, fund drawdown request, reconciliations, and grant closeout functions required by Grant Agencies and Project administrators.
- Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.
- Report regularly to Finance Lead and co-founders on your progress and achievements.
- Coordinate with the Finance Lead to process journal entries for various projects.

**BASIC QUALIFICATION**:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree

**PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Accounting/Finance/Business graduates with minimum 2 years of closely related experience
- Good working knowledge of IFRS
- Knowledge of Singapore government grant agencies and regulations
- Well-versed in Gsuite, MS Office, Xero, MRPeasy
- Accounting and Audit experience is a plus
- A self-starter with can-do attitude, who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
- Ability to analyze, evaluate and summarize financial records for accuracy and conformance to procedures, rules and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound writing skills
- Not afraid to juggle with menial tasks
