Care Corner Singapore Ltd was founded in 1981, in a climate of changes in the early 1980s, as economic competition in the region intensified and the rift between the wealthy and the lower-income in particular the Chinese blue-collar workers, widened. Rev Tan Tien Ser and a group of passionate individuals believed that these marginalised people with lower income and little opportunities for a formal education could be helped to realise their potential and become more competent and fulfilled persons. Through a series of early outreach initiatives, Care Corner has evolved into an organisation offering a wide range of programmes and services delivered through various social service centres located island-wide. In a bid to stay relevant to the needs of the community, Care Corner has continuously strived to offer new and innovative programmes to support those in need and the less privileged.
DESIGNATION : Senior Executive, Volunteer and Community Engagement
RESPONSIBILITIES

Volunteer Management and Development
- Push the adoption and utilisation of our Volunteer and Partner Relationship Management System (VPRMS) among all the service points in Care Corner;
- Provide individual coaching or group trainings in the usage and utilisation of VPRMS;
- Work with the VCE team, IT department and service vendor to resolve system errors and issues;
- Work with the VCE team to ensure data integrity and use the VPRMS to provide regular and timely reports to management and funders.
- Support the VCE team to manage and develop volunteers, using our Volunteer Management Framework;
- Support the VCE Team to Resource, Recruit, Retain, Review and sustain a growing community of regular and ad-hoc volunteers for Care Corner;
- Support the VCE Team in the onboarding, training and supervision of volunteers;
- Design and develop training curriculum and modules for staff and volunteers related to volunteer development and management;
- Conduct training and workshops for staff and volunteer;
- Create, update, evaluate and maintain our learning modules on the Learning Management System
- Train and develop current and potential volunteer leaders and build a vibrant community of volunteers and a sustainable pool of volunteer leaders, using our Volunteer Leadership Framework.
Community Engagement
- Maintain and keep track of our community assets map in VPRMS;
- Support the VCE team to facilitate and broker partnerships among community partners to meet the needs of the community
**Requirements**:
- At least 3 years of experience in learning and development, training and facilitation.
- Had experience in managing volunteers in personal capacity as a volunteer for charities or non-profit organisations.
- Had experience with Salesforce platform
- Ability to function as an effective individual contributor and team player
- Strong stakeholders’ management and people skills
- Be an effective conduit of information between all relevant working parties
- Independent, pro-active as a team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma holders or degree holders.
