**POSITION PURPOSE**:
**Business Overview**:
The **Record Keeping Project Manager** is a transversal role reporting into the APAC IT & Operations Chief Conduct and Control Office.

The Record Keeping Project Manager will be responsible for the RecordKeeping control framework rollout for all Business Lines and Functions in the APAC Region.

The Record Management APAC strategy will be defined and steered in partnership with the Record Management Office (RMO) Global Head (London Based) and CIB APAC management. The Record Keeping Project Manager will assist in the progression of the RMO Target Operating Model strategy.

The Record Keeping Project Manager will assist the Head of APAC RMO to put in place an adequate Record Management and Control framework.

The person filling this position will need to be able to partner and work across multiple cross-functional areas, including Information Technology, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Controls, centralized Records Management Program and the Data Management office.

Specifically, the Record Keeping Project Manager will assist in the implementation of a robust voice and eComs record keeping control framework in close partnership with APAC Infrastructure & Production and APAC IT & Operations Chief Conduct and Control Office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders
- Visualize and articulate project feasibility and key constraints
- Coordinate between resources to execute on multiple project fronts
- Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage change to project scope, schedule and where appropriate, verify or validate project approach
- Escalate on time critical issues
- Track project performance while analyzing for process and control optimization.
- Assist in the setting up of a complete Record Management strategy including the maintenance of a robust global records management policy and record retention schedules for the APAC region in line with the CIB Policy
- Facilitate the implementation of the Records Management policy in APAC and standard requirements for record retention and destruction in accordance with local regulations
- Support the transformation of the firms’ records management processes to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong network with key stakeholders including all CIB Métiers/Functions, Technology, Firmwide Records Management Program and Compliance
- Establish effective systems of administrative control for safeguarding all records and deployment
- Provide oversight of day-to-day operations within RMO
- Develop, monitor, manage and evidence RMO controls to validate effectiveness and operability
- Perform records management governance assessments on relevant new projects, ensuring RMO standards are met and all records and regulations are being identified and adhered to.
