**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Planning**: Develop and execute a comprehensive project development strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and targets global expansion.
- **Team Leadership**: Manage and mentor a team of project developers, engineers, and support staff, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and aligned with the company's goals.
- **Project Selection**: Identify and evaluate potential solar, wind, ammonia, hydrogen, water/wastewater plants, carbon capture, and other critical infrastructure projects.
- **Due Diligence**: Lead comprehensive due diligence on potential projects, including site surveys, feasibility studies, risk assessments, and financial analyses to determine project viability.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure all projects adhere to local and international regulations and permitting requirements, working with legal and regulatory teams as necessary.
- **Resource Management**: Efficiently allocate financial and human resources to projects to optimize the development process.
- **Budget Management**: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, financial institutions, and partners.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project setbacks.
- **Global Expansion**: Identify and evaluate opportunities for project development on a global scale, including market assessments and competitor analysis.
- **Reporting**: Regularly update senior management and stakeholders regarding project status, progress, and financial performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Energy Management, or a related discipline).
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in project development, preferably within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects globally.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent understanding of renewable energy, ammonia, hydrogen, and critical infrastructure development.
- In-depth knowledge of international regulations, permitting, and compliance requirements.
