**ABOUT THE POSITION**:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head, Corporate Communications to join our green energy company. In a senior capacity, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote our corporate messages and ensure timely and accurate communication with internal and external stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and other leadership members to shape the company's communication initiatives and maintain a consistent Vena Energy brand across the region. In addition, you will be responsible for managing communication assets and supporting various teams in developing and translating communication materials.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership members to develop corporate messages that align with the company's mission and values.
- Ensure the delivery of effective, timely, and accurate communications to internal and external stakeholders, including employees, investors, customers, and partners.
- Work closely with public relations/public affairs agencies to enhance marketing and communication functions, ensuring maximum visibility and impact.
- Organise communication activities across the region to ensure consistency in the Vena Energy brand and messaging.
- Act as a custodian for Vena Energy's communication assets, overseeing the collection, organization, and distribution of communications materials.
- Extend support to country teams in the development and translation of communication assets, including website building and social media platforms.
- Drive the public relations and community relations efforts in countries where communications expertise may be lacking, ensuring positive brand reputation and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Curate relevant content from various countries' activities to develop corporate and site-specific messages.
- Develop and execute comprehensive internal and external communications plans to effectively convey key messages and promote the company's green energy initiatives.
- Assume additional projects and duties as assigned from time to time to contribute to the overall success of the communications function and the company.

**EDUCATION**:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in a senior communications role, preferably in the renewable energy or sustainability sector.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful internal and external communications strategies.
- Experience working with public relations/public affairs agencies to support marketing and communication functions
- Proven track record in crisis communication management is a plus.

**SKILLS**:

- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align and deliver communication initiatives with organizational goals.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms, including social media, website management, and content management systems.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of the green energy industry and a passion for sustainability.
- Proven track record in crisis communication management is a plus.
