**The role**
The Terminations Manager is responsible for supporting the Global Terminations function as part of a transformation journey to deliver an effective and efficient terminations process. This role involves administering the termination process across various systems, ensuring data accuracy, managing opportunities related to terminations, and coordinating with internal teams to facilitate approvals. The Terminations Manager will also prepare and manage quotes for termination agreements, review contracts, and generate reports to provide insights on termination activities and trends.
**Termination Process**:
- Create and manage opportunities related to terminations, ensuring all relevant information is captured and updated.
- Update the relevant systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness in all systems.
**Quote Preparation**:
- Prepare and manage quotes for termination agreements, ensuring accuracy by reviewing contract terms and conditions.
**Contract Management**:
- Review contracts or abstracted termination clauses and route termination requests to internal teams for review and approval based on the scenario (e.g., early termination, contract breach).
- Coordinate with contract management to update terms in case of redlining and ensure proper filing, including counter-signatures.
**Internal Coordination**:
- Coordinate with internal teams (Commercial, Asset Managers, Sub-regional MDs, Legal, etc.) to obtain necessary approvals for quotes in accordance with company policies.
- Identify dependencies between products in the case of partial terminations to ensure a smooth process.
**Inventory Management**:
- Serve as the internal point of contact to ensure that the inventory and space are vacated and sellable.
**Documentation Preparation**:
- Prepare customer comms, and termination agreements using established templates.
**Reporting and Analysis**:
- Develop and generate monthly termination reports, providing detailed analysis and insights on termination activities and trends.
**What you’ll need**
- 5+ years of experience in contract management, operations, or a similar role, with a proven track record in managing termination processes in the Telecom industry.
- Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions, with the ability to review and interpret legal documents.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, and Apttus, with a focus on data accuracy and system administration would be a bonus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with various internal teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate insights from data and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
