Our **Asia Pacific Human Resources** Unit is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified HR professional to be based in **Singapore**, supporting its Asia Offices.
**Your Role**:
You are a member of the Asia Pacific Human Resources Team providing comprehensive, responsive and effective Human Resource service across Gen Re’s Asia operations. You will support the delivery of HR services to the region through efficient and accurate HR operations. Together with the team, you will ensure our programs and service delivery contribute positively to our employee value and experience. This role is ideal for a junior HR professional who enjoys being involved in all aspects of HR, has a passion for delivering high quality HR service, with a continuous improvement mindset. This is a contract role with a minimum term of 1 year.
**Your key responsibilities**:
- Support administration of end-to-end employee life cycle requirements through system data entry and maintenance of databases
- Support payroll operations and leave and benefit administration
- Provide operational support in training management
- Support HR reporting and analytics
- Participate in initiatives and projects as assigned from time to time
**Your Profile**:
- Minimum diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline with some experience in a HR function, preferably in a multinational environment
- High level of competency in MS Office, especially in Excel
- Adept in working with HR systems, preferably with experience in PeopleSoft
- Good command of English, both written and spoken. Able to read and speak Chinese as China is one of the key countries supported
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent worker and good team player
- Friendly and approachable with a client-oriented mindset
- High degree of professionalism and personal integrity, with the ability to be discreet
