**Essential Responsibilities**

You will build demonstrable experience in the Electric Transmission Utility sector by translating the complex into impactful solutions through ‘day in the life’ storytelling. In this role you will be formulating solutions by:

- Establishing and growing a deep understanding of the Advanced Energy Management Systems (AEMS) and Wide Area Management Systems (WAMS) for our customers and prospects across the APAC region
- Showing a capability to translate electrical market standards and regulation to GE product offerings
- Becoming the ‘Trusted Advisor’ with our customers technologists and internal GE Digital team
- Presenting and demonstrating the GE Digital AEMS solutions at various levels
- Researching deployed solutions in the APAC region and building experience to tell impactful stories
- Assisting with our technical proposals to ensure it aligns with our customers’ expectations and requirements
- Enthusiastically present GE solutions sales forums, industry events, and conferences to increase awareness and drive demand for our solutions
- Interfacing with the AEMS Pre-Sales teams globally and standardizing best practice through the use of LEAN principals
- Participate in customer meetings, proof of concepts and benchmarks to position GE AEMS solution during the sales lifecycle
- Grow and refine your understanding of AEMS as solution vendor to retain and expand market share
- Become the ‘Voice of the Customer’ by interfacing with product management
- Designing the AEMS control centre system solution architecture by meeting the customer requirement and GE standards

**Eligibility Requirements**
- Able to work from home as required
- Travel may be required up to 40%
- Authorized to work in Singapore (preferred) or Australia

**Desired Characteristics**
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering
- Experience with Transmission utilities APAC region
- Experience with SCADA and Transmission or Distribution Utility operational control systems
- Knowledge of SCADA systems (monitored devices, RTUs, HMI, etc.) and advance SCADA protocols such as DNP3 and ICCP as well as the IEC 61850 standard
- Knowledge and experience with renewable energy, DER and DERMS software solutions
- Knowledge and experience with Transmission utilities and Advanced Energy Management systems (AEMS)
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance with respect to utilities and/or energy markets
- Familiarity with Highly Available, Self-Healing IT/OT systems and/or containerization/microservices system architecture
- Hands-on experience with GE’s AEMS solutions
- Experience as a customer facing pre-sales technical solution architect for 1+ years
- Knowledge of IT hardware and networking equipment will be advantageous
- Knowledge of cyber security standards/best practice for operational systems

Experience architecting operational systems in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
