Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Transmission Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network technologies, including SDH, MSTP, OTN, and ASON.

This role involves the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced fiber optic transport systems. The successful candidate will lead high-level and low-level design, developing implementation plans and guiding the deployment process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic transport systems, including DWDM, ROADM, ASON, and related technologies
  • Leading high-level and low-level design, developing implementation plans and guiding the deployment process
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager in network design, site preparation, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Overseeing the buildout and daily operation of customer networks, ensuring optimal performance and stability
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Expertise in network technologies such as SDH, MSTP, OTN, ASON
  • Proven experience in telecommunication project implementation, network planning, and cutover experience in SDH, MSTP, and WDM Networks
  • Strong skills in network device configuration and optimization for both efficiency and security
  • Proven project management and troubleshooting abilities
