**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Business Development team in its regular functions towards executing the organisation’s strategic goals.
- Prepare and compile ship operating budget proposals for existing and new clients in liaison with various departments.
- Conducting market research and analysing industry trends
- Developing and maintaining a strong network of industry contacts
- Staying informed about changes in the market and industry
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, such as contracts and partnerships.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Technical, operations and crewing
- Manage all relevant documentation related to the department (e.g. Maintain ship management contracts and agreements).
- Monitor the department’s outstanding projects in coordination with the other team members.Perform ad hoc duties as and when necessary.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Educational Qualification should be at least a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Marine or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Must have at-least 2-3 Years of experience in Business development for Ship Management or Ship Building.
- Hands-on experience in Sales of Marine Services or Products to existing and potential customers with Ship Owners, Ship Managers, Charterers or Maritime Organizations. Experience of Ship Building Yard will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of Vessel’s Performance and Budgeting requirements. Overview of HSEQA and Management of accident Investigations would be an added advantage.
