Boeing Global Services Digital Aviation Solution is seeking an experienced **Solution Consultant, ForeFlight **to join our team of professionals. This position will be responsible for providing presales and consulting support for ForeFlight portfolio and sales team, examples including explaining to potential customers why a pilot would use ForeFlight Mobile for pre-flight planning, integration with the avionics, equipment or other electronic products, as well as explain what in-flight weather options are available within ForeFlight.
**Essential Functions**:
- Evaluates customer challenges and determines technical solutions.
- Analyzes processes and organization around flight planning and proposes improvements.
- Identifies value propositions associated with customer challenges and tailors product demonstrations to illustrate value.
- Partners with the portfolio to improve product functionality from product concept through delivery utilizing experience and voice of customer.
- Identifies opportunities for the responsible sales organization to provide business consulting services.
- Provides other customer consulting services as required
- Meeting with clients regularly, both face-to-face and virtually, to stay on top of their business needs.
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience)**:
- A degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Aviation Management, Science & Technology or equivalent.
- At least four (4) years’ experience in airline / aviation industry.
- At least five (5) years of Client Management or Customer Success experience.
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**:
- High-level customer service experience is needed. You will be interacting with Chief Pilots, Directors of Operations and company owners on a daily basis. The ability to professionally communicate is essential
- A Commercial Pilot’s License with Instrument Rating, or Military equivalent, along with an advanced rating (CFI, ATP, jet type rating) is preferred.
- An Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate and pilots with jet aircraft experience are a plus. Other attractive attributes include commercial, helicopter, or military flight experience, as well as experience as an international dispatcher, flight scheduler, or account management
- Possess strong business acumen skills and acts as team player
- Able to identify pain points and opportunities for customers and propose solutions that will deliver significant business value in business aviation and military aviation.
- Additional foreign language speaking including Chinese, Japanese or Korean would be advantageous
- Frequent travel could be a key component of this role.
