Join Our Team as **Regional Business Development Manager** at ABL Group

We are looking for a regional business development manager who serves as a door opener for growth in the region. You will be responsible for developing and executing the regional business development (BD) strategy to identify new prospects, enhance client relationships, collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the efforts to expand service offerings and increase backlog.

**What you will be doing?**
- Develop and execute a structured BD strategy with a detailed outreach plan.
- Working closely with relevant country and business line managers to identify top clients and map long-term engagement plans.
- Set monthly client engagement KPIs per business line / per country and follow-up closely to achieve targets.
- Ensure that all BD activity performed in the region is duly logged and followed up in CRM.
- Prepare quarterly BD performance review analyzing pipeline trends, conversion rates, and areas for improvement.
- Lead monthly BD meetings to track APAC deal movement and eliminate any stalled opportunities.
- Provide leadership recommendations on refining BD approach based on performance analytics.
- Monitor and enforce CRM hygiene ensuring all deals have clear next steps, probability weighting, and updated closing dates.
- Hold all stakeholders accountable for pipeline movement ensuring proactive updates on stagnant deals.
- Provide insights from CRM data to regional leadership identifying trends, deal risks, and proactive intervention points.
- Wherever possible, work collaboratively with other sister brands to identify multi-segment opportunities in APAC leveraging synergies.
- Encourage exploring suitable adjacent service offerings during each client interaction.
- Report on cross-segment wins tracking deals that incorporate multiple ABL Group services and report successes.
- Initiate and implement BD initiatives that leverage market intelligence to attract new clients and maintain relationships.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and market dynamics, identifying new growth areas for further exploration.
- Maintain an up-to-date library of marketing materials, assisting in the creation of tailored presentations and documentation that support BD initiatives.
- Identify and engage with key marketing channels, industry publications, and trade shows to elevate ABL's brand presence, collaborating with the relevant teams to drive visibility and awareness.
- Encourage and coordinate building and maintaining relationships with clients through regular visits and active participation in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Support regional management in the achievement of BD objectives, contributing to overall sales and growth targets.
- Adhere and promote adherence to ABL’s HSEQ policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Undertake any additional job-related duties as required.

- Experienced in managing both external and internal stakeholders, driving growth, and ensuring alignment.
- Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of managing large datasets and conducting market, competitor, and performance analysis.
- Ability to identify an organization’s unique selling points and leverage communication skills to drive internal changes.
- Commercial acumen with project management skills having the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Solid business sense and a deep understanding of marketing principles.
- Positive attitude, proactive approach, and plenty of initiative.
