**Regional Development Director**
Aon is currently recruiting a **Regional Development Director - Total Benefits Advisory & Management, Asia** to join our Regional Health Solutions team in Singapore. This is an opportunity to work with colleagues and clients across to region, a hands on experience to learn local benefits program.

**What the day will look like**
- Develop sales and prospecting pipeline (regional/global focus) with online benefits being a standalone or integrated health solutions
- Execution of the annual sales plan for online benefits in the region and ensure there are sufficient open pipelines to meet the annual budgeted revenue growth via new business penetration
- Work with other teams in cross-selling activities
- Convert opportunities by demonstrating expertise and ability to meet clients' needs
- Support regional and local colleagues in the pursuit of important new business opportunities where online/flex is part of scope
- Ensure new online/flex opportunities are tracked accurately and in a timely manner
- Spearhead the initial implementation of Flex/digital programs and ensure successful and smooth client launch
- Assist to facilitate new client discussions including benefits strategy and plan design
- Participate in employee focus group sessions whenever required (applicable for new Flex clients)
- Provide guidance and resume advisor role to design Flex plan that meets client objectives
- Work alongside with Head of Total Benefits in developing client growth and retention strategies
- Develop sales and marketing materials
**How this opportunity is different**
The Regional Development Director is responsible for driving sales activities and the acquisition of new business in online benefits (including Flexible Benefits), resulting in revenue growth and expansion of our online and flex benefits business portfolio in the region. This person will work closely with colleagues from the Regional and Local Health Solutions team.
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Degree from a recognised university
- In-depth knowledge of the overall employee benefits program (standard and bespoke)
- Knowledge and understanding of Flexible Benefits is a must
- Experience in large scale benefits system implementation
- Has experience and consistent track record in leading sales team for more than 15 years of related experience in broking/consulting/ professional services firm
- Highly motivated and excellent leadership skills while consistently working towards results
- Highly articulate, an effective communicator who uses consultative selling skills
- Possesses strategic planning skills, business acumen and sales competence
- Demonstrate accountability, coaching and management skills
- Guide others in resolving complex client issues based on existing solutions and process
- Effective collaboration across departments and organization
- Ability to work under pressure and handle deadlines
- Knowledge of client profiling and ability to recognize and be sensitive to client needs and priorities
- Able to think creatively and critically, making good judgement and decisions
- Alignment to departmental and organizational vision and goals
- Self-directed growth and development
- Effective interpersonal and people management skills
- Work independently and with initiative, with guidance in only the most complex situations
