**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Location**: Singapore

**Position Type**: Full Time, regular

**Report to**: Senior Business Development Manager

**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for business development and key account management with assigned customers in S.E.A region.

Manage and maintain good customer relationship and rapport to enhance customer satisfaction on Knorr-Bremse products.

Responsible for business planning activities which align to company strategic direction and business goals.

Drive demand creation activities to increase sales by actively engaging with operators to influence customers’ decision on their Overhaul and Maintenance plan.

Work with authorities/operators to understand their long-term plan for fleet maintenance and develop potential modernization/retrofit business opportunities.

Collect market intelligence, maintain project database and steer project developments.

Work with Business Managers to develop optimized strategies to secure new projects and aftermarket businesses.

Study tender specification and commercial conditions, define best bidding strategy and coordinate with various functions to prepare technical and commercial proposals in accordance to company processes and business goals.

Manage customer's complaints and work with Quality & Local Complaint Manager to resolve quality issues.

Assist FICO (accounting) department following up with customers to ensure on-time payment.

Collaborate with agents on all projects and steer their performance.

**Requirements**:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent

At least 5 years’ experience in marketing and business development of technical products or engineering services in SEA market, preferably from rail industry

Good understanding of the Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) of regional rail operators will be an added advantage

Strategic, analytical and intercultural sensitive

Positive thinking with good sense of adaptability and flexibility to perform task as an individual contributor as well as a team

Strong communication skills and customer oriented

Fluent in English
