Participant Recruitment Executive in the Clinical Research Centre

Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is looking for a Participant Recruitment Executive to recruit participants for the Health for Life in Singapore (HELIOS) Study. This study is undertaken jointly by LKCMedicine, National Healthcare Group and Imperial College of London. It aims to profile the health and behavior of people from the general Singapore population. The scope of the research is segmented into (1) surveys on health, lifestyle and dietary habits, (2) physical and functional measurements (e.g. anthropometry, grip strength, exercise test, spirometry, ECG, optical imaging and pulse wave velocity) and (3) biomarkers for chronic diseases.

The participant recruitment executive will play a key role in supporting the study, mainly in, but not limited to, the following roles:
- Assist to develop recruitment strategies, work with our healthcare partners, public and private organisations on recruitment drive to offer the HELIOS Study as a research health screening and/or research participation program to meet the recruitment target of the project.- Prescreen interested volunteers to ensure their eligibility to participate in the study.- Manage the HELIOS hotline by communicating effectively with prospective participants before the study to address queries or concerns brought up by them and to provide them with instructions for the study day.- Attend to the appointment booking system to schedule appointment slots for potential participants.- Assist to maintain a database of potential recruits.- Report to the HELIOS Recruitment Manager and perform other duties that are assigned to him/her.

Passion in serving the community.

Degree/Diploma in Mass Communications or Social Sciences.

More than 3 years in marketing, corporate communication, research participant recruitment or membership drive roles.

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and negotiation skills. Preferably fluent in spoken and written Chinese.

The ability to work independently with high levels of motivation.

Understanding of marketing and advertising strategies and familiarity with IRB

Guidelines related to the research study promotional materials with demonstrated experience developing such materials.

7) Being exposed to allied health/clinical (hospital) environment would be of advantage.
