
Sales Engineer

Due to Val-Technik’s plan to increase its presence and expand its business, we are looking for an aspiring and driven Sales Engineer.
You will be based in Singapore, and will be responsible for acquiring new customer accounts. Your role’s main focus is to grow the sales of the company. In addition, you will perform secondary functions such as communicating the obtained market information internally, assisting the business development and marketing activities, and providing technical support to the customers. You are part of the Business Development and Sales Team and will report to the Managing Director and the General Manager.What will you do?
You will assume full responsibility of any existing customer accounts assigned to you.
You will create and manage a list of key personnel from these existing customer accounts to ensure secured business continuity with them.
You may also be responsible for growing any existing customer accounts assigned to you.
More importantly, you will find and develop new customer accounts in the targeted market assigned to you.
You are to conduct market surveys and identify opportunities and trends in the market.
You have to create and manage a project list.
You are to prepare for and deliver compelling technical presentations to consultants and owners with our Engineering and Technical Team.
You have to effectively communicate all information that you have obtained or created to the management.
You may be required to contribute ideas and content to the marketing tools of the company (i.e not restricted to but include the company’s website, social media accounts, brochures, leaflets, datasheets and spec sheets).
You shall manage the day-to-day customer enquiries, questions and issues.You will also attend any site meetings whenever required.

A recognised relevant academic degree in engineering.
You are highly interested in the commercial element of engineering while being technically adept.
Ambition to be part of a dynamic sales team, with a strong technical background.
Ambition and desire to have a progressive and exciting career.
Proactiveness and willingness to learn.
Drive with enthusiasm to succeed in task(s).
Being positive, outgoing, energetic and resilient.
Good communication skills and ability to foster good personal relations.
Exhibit a “team player” mentality and is able to prioritise tasks/opportunities and think strategically.
Fluent in English; other languages are assets.
