Climate Impact X (CIX) is a Singapore-based global carbon exchange and marketplace that aims to scale the voluntary carbon market; through a joint venture by DBS, SGX, Standard Chartered and Temasek.

CIX offers distinct platforms and products that cater to the needs of different carbon credit buyers and sellers. The Exchange facilitates the sale of large-scale high-quality carbon credits through standardised contracts - catering primarily to MNCs and institutional investors. The Project Marketplace and Auction offer a curated selection of NCS projects that can meet corporate sustainability objectives. Each project on the Project Marketplace and Auction is supported by transparent impact, risk and pricing data.

**About the role**
The Spot Trading Platform Intern will support the Director of Trading Platform in ensuring the continuous development and growth of the Trading Platform.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting new contract development and go-to-market strategies for new contract launches
- Researching pricing methods for new and existing contracts on the Spot Platform
- Analyzing competition, identifying partnership opportunities, and contributing to the overall strategy
- Utilizing data analysis to inform business decisions
- Collaborating with the Commercial, Operations, and Pricing teams to ensure smooth operation of the platform
- Supporting the development and implementation of new features and functionality on the platform
- Participating in testing and quality assurance of the platform
- Keeping up-to-date on market trends and regulations related to carbon trading

**Requirements**:

- Independent with good project management skills
- Strong interest and passion in environmental issues and sustainability
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with trading and exchange platforms
- Good understanding of commodities and carbons market is a plus
- Some knowledge of programming languages (Python) and technologies is a plus
- Ideally able to commit for a minimum of 6 months
