**Responsibilities**

We are looking for a Trading Intern to join the desk on a 6-month basis. Applicants looking for part time internships are welcome to apply.

Research Support:

- Conduct thorough research on global macroeconomic trends, financial markets, and specific asset classes, including cryptocurrencies.
- Update and improve existing trading and economic analytics and visualisation tools for desk use.
- Support the desk with writing daily market updates and prepare material for weekly trading and risk calls.

Trading Strategy Assistance:

- Collaborate with the trading team to assist in developing and back testing trading strategies.
- Conduct historical data analysis and assist in optimizing existing quantitative models.

**Requirements**:

- Strong passion for the financial markets including the ability to have intelligent conversations on current market trends
- Prior experience or coursework in finance, economics, or quantitative analysis is preferred but not required
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Coding experience in Python in the context of statistical and data analysis is preferred
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and market data providers is a plus
