Trade Finance Role

We are seeking a Trade Finance professional to oversee the execution of import and export transactions, manage Letter of Credit amendments, and ensure timely documentation processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Managing import and export activities, including Letter of Credit confirmations, discounting, guarantees, and performance bonds.
  • Handling Letter of Credit amendments, reviewing contracts, checking documentation, and negotiating key terms with banks or internal stakeholders.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between operators and bank's LC functions, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation.
  • Monitoring daily financing needs for trading activities and collaborating with key financing banks and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiating bilateral trade finance documentation with banks in English and Mandarin.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying discrepancies, and escalating issues to relevant parties for resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Detailed knowledge of UCP600, ISBP, ISP98, and commodity trading incoterms.
  • 2 years' experience in Trade Finance/Structured Trade Finance department in Oil & Gas Industry or Banks.
  • Good understanding of physical trading operations and inventory management.
  • Meticulous and able to work independently with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with native speakers.
