**Regional Design Manager ASEAN**
Under the direction of the APAC Design Head, the Design Manager manages Regional Power Brands & Local Pearls with regards to design strategy insights and recommendations. The position leads all design activities within ASEAN region to build holistic design system and deliver design quality, design effectiveness & design consistency across our brands, products and experiences.
**YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Translation of brand purpose, character + other relevant factors into design systems and strategy.
- Design agency management, including, scope, brief & briefing, design review, budgets and timing to build remarkable design.
- Roll out & adapt Global packaging, VBL & BrandWorld honoring design intent, DA and design principles.
- Continuously track, pulse and share trends, eg; category, consumer, industry
- Lead integration of design thinking by practicing design doing
- Support and guide flawless transition from intent to execution within the VBL and EBL.
- Share and align best practices and approach
**WHO YOU ARE**:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
- Experience managing ‘holistic’ design across multiple touchpoints, from innovation to execution. A proven track record in building distinctive brand and consumer experiences, delivering notable commercial impact.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, interpersonal savvy, possess organizational agility, strong presentation skills, a drive for results and managing vision and purpose
- Possess design thinking abilities (2D & 3D design), Project planning, Shopper & user empathy understanding and manufacturing / printing principles
