**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the station/outlet in charge, reporting weekly or more to the Production Manager if necessary.
- Responsible for logistic and production planning within the outlet in charge
- Monitor the production of pastry items to ensure they are in compliance and consistent with the prescribed recipes and specifications. Adhere to all the standards of food presentation, production, and portioning controls.
- Assist the Production Manager in stock planning and ordering
- Assist the Production Manager to develop and implement SOPs for the kitchen as and when required
- Work closely with Production Manager / Executive Chef in new menu item creation or improvement of existing pastries
- Take charge of stock taking of ingredients, utensils, supplies and equipment within the station/outlet in charge using RFID
- Ensures that food is delivered promptly and efficiently to customers
- Ensure food quality and cost are in line with café standards
- Ensures stock, deliveries and wastage are all checked and recorded in line with café’s SOPs
- Ensure strict adherence to kitchen SOPs
- Maintains good understanding of food cost, sales mix and menu planning
- Enforce controls to minimize food, supply waste and pilferage
- Ensure high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout the pastry kitchen at all times
- Ensures that food storage areas are maintained according to the kitchen’s hygiene, health and safety policies and procedures
- To take responsibility towards own development and attend training sessions or courses when required
- Assist in providing orientation, training and guidance to new pastry staff
- Supervise working procedures of commis cooks
- Assigning daily tasks to fellow junior teammates
- **Responsible in baking cakes (for Sunday folks only)

**Qualifications**:

- F&B / Pastry Qualification
- With at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good team player with leadership potential
- Passionate, discipline, self-motivated, resourceful and proactive
- Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure with good organisation skills
- Great attention to details and creativity
- Good knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
- Strong time & people management
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs and Macintosh OS a plus
- Able to work in a high volume production environment
- Good time management skills
- Ability to maintain a clean environment
